We will explain here how to deploy an AXEL cold node on the trttNodes platform.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Axel desktop wallet.
  • 5,000 + 1 Axel more. (For Axel Network masternodes)
  • 5€ in the balance as a minimum at your trttNodes platform Trittium wallet.

This guide assumes you have already downloaded and fully synced the AXEL Desktop wallet. If you didn’t, you could do it here: https://axel.network/download/

STEP 1.

Login into your trttNodes account and press “SETUP NODE” button.

We are deploying an AXEL masternode, so we search for it in the search bar, and we select it.

Once we select AXEL masternode to deploy, we will see this screen:

System asks us for the “Transaction ID.”

STEP 2.

Making the collateral Transaction.

Once your wallet is fully synced, in the top menu, go to Files/Receiving address.

Press on “NEW” once you see this popup windows:

You will see this:

Put a name for the address, and press OK.

Now, go to the receiving address section in the top menu, and select it again.

You will see a window with the address you just created.

Select it (One mouse click) and press copy.

Now we select “SEND” in the top draws menu, you will see this screen.

Here we paste the address we just created and copied before.

And we write the amount we want to send.
If we are deploying an Axel Network masternode, 5,000 Axel (Exactly) is the amount to send.
If we are creating an Axel System Masternode, we must send 50,000 Axel.

After filling the fields, we press “SEND.”

Once we make the transaction, we will see a line into our transaction history. We will click twice on it to view the tx.

Once we double click a new pop up appears, it shows us the Transaction number we need to deploy the masternode:

This is the number we must use now, our Transaction ID:

55a6bef36be9af6494dc7e8439199c7e89b998968c8edc2eeef0e93a7bdd0218

STEP 3.-

We go back now to the platform.

Last time, the system was asking us for the transaction ID, now we have it, so we will paste it on the trttNodes platform and later press “Setup Masternode.”

Once you press “Setup Masternode” you will see this pop-up.

Within a few minutes, you will be getting a confirmation e-mail from Trittium, which includes all the required data for your masternode.conf file.

You can see the data going to the left column of the Trittium website, click on “Portfolio” then click “My Nodes”.

You will see there one line like this one:

In this case, our masternode is deployed. We only must press the green “play” button and instructions will appear.

This is what you will see:

You must copy the string and paste it at your masternode.config file into your desktop wallet.

The string has several parts and must be pasted in only one line. Like this:

We save the file and close the wallet.

We open the wallet again, unlock it and wait for full sync.

We go to masternodes tab at the desktop wallet and press “start node.”

If the node fails to start with an invalid IP error, please start the masternode via debug console:

Into your wallet, after a full synchronization, go to Depur Console, you will see a new window, where you should type these other options:

Option 1

startmasternode alias “” <your_mn_alias>

In our example, as the node name is UMN10580, you should type:

startmasternode alias “” UMN10580

Option 2

masternode start-alias <your_mn_alias>

As an example, as the node name is UMN10580, you should type:

masternode start-alias UMN10580

If you get an error message like “could not allocate vin” or similar, it means you probably didn’t make right some of the first steps related to the collateral transaction. Please, start again.
